Hubert was engaged by the client to manage the design/build retro-fit of a former 3,045 S.F. retail store for this upscale Italian restaurant with brick oven pizza bar. The project included significant upgrades to the mechanical and electrical systems to accommodate the use, requiring extensive coordination during pre-construction and construction between the kitchen consultant and design engineers, and resulting in structural modifications to the roof system. The simple, but elegant, finished space includes floating axiom ceiling systems, bamboo and quarry tile floors, suspended saucer like fluorescent lights, glass ceramic tile walls and granite bar tops.
